I hired Hiroshi to design, build, and install custom folding doors for the opening of my loft bedroom+office space. I’m thrilled with the outcome and enjoyed working with Hiroshi. In particular, he
-Attentively listened to my preferences and desired features for the door
-Enthusiastically and creatively brainstormed various designs to bring my vision to fruition
-Diligently researched properties of and best practices for the bamboo plywood (plyboo) that I chose for the door material
-Spent time on his own constructing a scale model of the door to confirm feasibility of the custom-made sliding track and folding mechanisms
-Worked neatly with excellent attention to detail
-Communicated clearly, professionally, and promptly at all phases of the project

Streamside Carpentry did some customer stain grade oak window sills and trim for four windows in our house. They were two pairs of corner windows and so had some very tricky issues. The end result is beautiful, durable, and rock solid. I'd highly recommend them, especially on finished carpentry!

Streamside was a saving grace for my finish construction project. In today's construction climate when contractors are difficult to work with, Streamside was the opposite. Hiroshi has a unique combination of being highly skilled and communicative. He is an excellent craftsman who stands by his work and cares about the people he works with. I was astonished at the care given to the project; from quality work, to being on time, to valuing environmental considerations, the overall experience was better than a 5-star review on google can communicate. The value was excellent and the stress reduction of knowing Hiroshi was on the job was worth volumes. Streamside will be my families trusted go-to carpenter on future projects.
