These ranges include cabinetry and installation, but do not include countertops, plumbing fixtures, electrical, tile work, mirrors, or general contracting.

Because every space is different, final pricing depends on layout, materials, and level of detail. We refine that together during the design process.

Do you offer cabinet refacing?

Yes, with some caveats.

We do not change the appliance layout (you would contact a general contractor for this). The existing carcasses must be made of plywood and in sound condition. There are also limitations to what we can do with the existing frame or edge banding. We will not site apply edge banding because they are adhesive applied and will always stay sticky. This means over time, the edges will accumulate dirt and grime and is not a good look. There are several approaches available.

If you have existing hardwood framed cabinets, the frames can be sanded and refinished or painted on-site. We would install new drawer slides, hardware and rebuild drawers to fit. The old doors and drawer fronts can be repurposed depending on their condition or a new door style can be selected and installed.

If you have existing frameless cabinets, the process is pretty much the same as with framed cabinets, except easier since we don’t have to work around a frame when installing new drawer slides. Note again that we will not apply a new edge banding on-site.

If you want to convert from one to the other, it is possible but we need to asses the site conditions to determine what is possible.

We can also remove and reinstall your cabinets in another space like the garage.

As you may start to see, the labor involved in a thorough repair and reface is quite extensive. At some point, it is not cheaper to reface cabinets. The cheapest way is to only reface without changing the layout, framing, or hardware. Ultimately, we can work with you to figure out what works for your budget.

Do you offer non-toxic finishes?

Yes, with many nuances.

I want cabinets to contribute to a healthy home with clean indoor air quality.

That said, I’ve found that non-toxic finishes are not as durable, stain-resistant, and require re-application to maintain their function. Even in the world of non-toxic finishes, there is a spectrum and there is a middle ground to be found. If you are still interested, we can discuss what options we have for you.

Can I have different door styles for my lower and upper cabinets?

Yes, of course!

Do you have other door styles than what’s on your Home Page?

Send us what you’d like and we will see what we can create.

Can you install our cabinets?

Sure! We understand that our selection of styles may not fit your needs. We’ve installed for the largest cabinet maker in Central Oregon and we’d be happy to do it for you.
